Graduation Celebration

Today Caitlin graduated. We just can not believe it. We are so proud of her and her accomplishment. She so proudly wore all her honors cords. Caitlin will accomplish anything she sets her heart and soul into.

The girls are surely going to miss her when she goes to college! When I explained to the girls that Caitlin was graduating and now she had to go to college and get a job, Lexi was not so sure that Caitlin was going to like that. I am thinking she was not so sure that SHE was going to like that!

Some Sunday fun

Today we just hung around the house and enjoyed all the home fun. Poppa got home from Tennessee early afternoon. They sure did miss him, all three of them! The good news is that Poppa's car is finally done after four years. The even better news was that it won an award! Poppa is so excited. We should have it in Florida in about 3 weeks.

Just another typical day for Alexi ...

Lexi loves her worms! Lexi went worm picking at the birthday party today. She even gathered a few friends to join in on the worm fun. I didn't get a picture, but she had an entire plastic cup filled with worms. She left them on the table and almost gave a mom a heart attack. We brought them home and of course they dies before she could get them into the garden to live. Needless to say, she was not happy about this.

Mother's day, the most special day of the year!

Wow, what a special mother's day I had. I feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to be a mommy to not one, not two, but three amazing children. All so very different but all so very special. Reflecting on the past 5 years brings so much joy and love to my heart. My heart, my soul and my everything belong to three most precious beings. I love you Alexi, Carli and Gavin and truly live for you all!

We spent the morning at the park with a "take out" breakfast, spent a couple of hours at the beach club and followed all that fun with a great dinner with the entire family. To make the day even more special, I got a new computer and some very cool handmade frames. Lexi made me the most "perfect" frame to include a photograph of her and I, Carli too made me a frame, but she said she didn't need a picture of us! She is hilarious!
