Crib fun with Romeo the bulldog

Romeo loves going to get Gavin up from his nap. I don't let Romeo get in all the time, but both Gavin and Romeo sure do like it when I do. If Romeo could smile, I think he would be.

No wave scares this girl!

Today was another surf lesson for Lexi. She is really enjoying it. Today she had some pretty good waves and surfed them like a champ. She does not give up and is a very determined little girl. Amazing what this girl accomplishes!!

Enjoying the weather

Florida does not always get the most perfect weather, as many people believe. In the summer months it is to hot and humid to be outside. Come fall and winter we are all about the outdoors. We love simple outdoor fun. Nothing better to get all the energy out. Best of all, no toys to fight over!

a surfing party fit for a six year old

What an amazing birthday party Alexi had. We started off making lei necklaces (made from real flowers) and grass skirts. After the art/crafts time we had lunch followed by beach time. The original plan was to do surfing lessons, but do to the very rough waves we had to stick to boogie boarding. The kids didn't seem to mind a bit! Some were brave enough for the ocean waves and others just played in the sand. After the beach, we had pool time while we waited for some yummy, to good looking to eat birthday cake! Of course we ended the party with a pinata.
