Nothing cuter than a butterfly and some newborn baby chicks

Today was a very exciting day for Lexi at school. They placed eggs in an incubator 21 days ago. Today was the magic day, how many would hatch, how many baby chicks would they get. Lexi of course being very knowledgable on the subject filled me in on all the pre-hatching information. The amount of days for fertilization, the temperature needed for the incubator, the temperature needed for the hatched chicks, etc.. This went on for all 21 days! Well, needless to say, they ended up with 7 baby chicks. I must say anything newborn is so cute! I was as excited as all the friends at school were.

Carli came home as cute as the baby chicks! When I picked up Carli from the loading dock, she was transformed into a Monarch butterfly. She sure did give those baby chicks some competition in the "cuteness" department.

Gavin's first birthday bash ... Curious George style

Today we celebrated Gavin's birthday with some very special family and friends. We celebrated at the Little Gym. Gavin's continuous smile showed just how much fun he had. I feel so fortunate and blessed to not only be surrounded by so many special people, but to have the abilities to provide such nice parties. Best of all, I love doing them!
