Gavin's first haircut

Today we had a milestone of a day ... Lexi started kindergarten and Gavin got his first haircut. Gavin didn't mind his haircut. He had fun in all the cool chairs. He tried out every single one of them. The sweet ending, a lollipop!

School rocks ... especially kindergarten!

Today was the first day of school. It was bittersweet! Lexi was becoming a big girl. Lexi started kindergarten and Carli started in the big montessori classroom (Pre-A). They were definitely ready for school to begin, though I think mommy was just a bit more ready, so I thought. We had a great summer, filled with lots of fun and friends, but it was time to get back to structure and routine.

Today we had a dinner to send Caitlin off to college. We are so proud of her and can't believe that she is leaving for college in a few days. We sure will miss her, glad she is not too far away.

Going to Kindergarten celebration

So today we had a party for all the kindergarteners and their families. We had a great time meeting all the families before the rush of the year starts. We have some old friends and some new friends. We even had the chance to meet the kindergarten teacher, Miss Jenn. What a great evening we had, now we just have to wait for the big day.

A visit with Pa

The kids love to go see Pa. They take all kinds of adventures in his big "backyard", where a treasure hunt is always included. It wouldn't be a good hunt if at least someone didn't go barefoot.
