Happy Valentine's Day my Cleveland crew ...

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows.
Here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
And the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
Which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide.
And this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart.
I carry your heart.
I carry it in my heart.

Today we celebrated Valentines day! Any reason to celebrate, we do it. The girls woke up to a special Valentine's prize and later on poppa brought them home even more surprises. After all, I think the girls are poppa's real loves! The girls had special Valentines day parties at school and of course came home with lots of Valentines day mail. I remember how important it was for each friend to have that specific valentine and to get home and open them all. It is so fun to relive all these great memories in the eyes of your own child. We followed school with a lunch date with poppa, we even had dessert after lunch.

Poor Gavin, still not feeling well. We did discover what he has at least, the hand, foot and mouth virus. Apparently it lasts 3-5 days, so hopefully we are on the upswing of it by tomorrow. Of course I had to get a few pictures anyhow, so don't mind the mouth sores.

Happy Birthday to Mema

Yesterday we celebrated Mema's birthday at auntie Laurie's house. All the kids love going there. Auntie Laurie has a big back yard, she cooks good and best of all we have fun cousins there!

It's a slumber party at our house!

Ella got to stay the night at our house on Friday. The girls were so excited to have Ella sleep over. Carli was plotting and planning for three days prior on how she could sleep in Lexi's room with the big girls. Well she won, auntie Laurie brought over the air mattress camping bed and it fit just right. Of course they stayed up until 9:30 (which is very late for my girls) and Lexi woke them up at 7:00 in the morning. No sleeping in at Lexi's slumber party. No sleep over would be complete without a trip to dunkin doughnuts and getting your nails done. Only we had to go to the salon to get our nails done (the girls were not disappointed at all, LOL) because mommy had to sneak in a manicure as well. My not so girlie girl Lexi, of course opted out of nail painting but enjoyed watching.

Life is not all peaches and cream ....

Poor Gavin, he has had the worst luck with his ears. He has already had several ear infections and is only 10 months old. Poor little guy came down with another fever on Friday, so off to the doctors we went. Of course we were there until 6:15 at night. Little man dosed off on me and took a phone picture of his sad little sickie face. I sure do hate when they get sick!
