Lexi found this caterpillar on a plant that she picked and was growing. She asked us to buy a habitat to watch it grow into a butterfly. So we did of course. We figured that we would get a tank and see if we could watch it morph into a butterfly. Both Lexi and Carli learned about the stages of a butterfly in school last year and are excited to watch this. Well, let's see what happens! She of course went into details about what was going to happen, what kind of butterfly it was (she could tell by the color pattern and how it felt). I love that she is so excited about these kinds of things.
